Bobby Brown
Class of 2009. (Deceased) Bobby became a member in 1947. He was Vice President in 1962, President in 1963, and on the Executive Board in 1958 and 1964. After officiating college football, he became the observer of officials for several college conferences as well as being a much-in-demand observer of high school officials. He has worked the OHSAA State Finals and has been inducted into the OHSAA Officials Hall of Fame. He has been President of IAABO and been inducted into the Lake Erie Basketball Officials Association Hall of Fame as well as the Greater Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame. He has been a long-time member of the Cleveland Touchdown Club and after serving as that organization's President, had an award given to officials named after him. He has mentored many a young official and greatly aided their advancement up the officiating ranks. Bobby has also been the recipient of the Greater Cleveland Football Coaches Association 'Golden Deeds' Award. The CFOA honored him in 1985 by naming him one of the "Men of the Year", their most prestigious award.
