Biography



Jerry Sulecki
Class of 2010. Jerry joined the CFOA in 1973 and served on the Executive Board in 1985 and 1986. He was elected Vice President in 1988, became President in 1989, and chaired the Executive Board in 1990. He has worked several OHSAA State Finals and is in the OHSAA Officials Hall of Fame. He has served as observer of officials in the playoffs and at the State Tournament. Jerry co-founded the Ohio Football Officials Hospitality Suite and was a Cleveland Browns practice official for 15 years. He edited the Ohio Football Officials Training Manual, is the author of many officiating articles in REFEREE MAGAZINE, and the OFFICIALS QUARTERLY. He served on the National Federation's Publications Committee for 7 years. He was named the CFOA "Man of the Year" in 2004. Jerry was honored by the Lake County Coaches Association after serving many years as President of the Lake County Touchdown Club. In 2012, he was elected to the Greater Cleveland Slo-Pitch Hall of Fame.
