Subject: Covered and uncovered players and eligible and ineligible players down field

After discussing these topics with a few fellow officials I figured I would ask the groups understanding of each situation. What is your understanding of covered/ uncovered receivers ? And to piggyback on that what makes a player eligible/ineligible to go down field off of that ?

When receivers line up on the line as on or off does that change their ability to be eligible or not for passes? |

Varsity football: an eligible receiver needs an eligible number. They can either be in the backfield or on the end of the line. |
